Classic Rules and Regulations Tournament is sanctioned by the USBC. All bowlers must be a member of the USBC to enter. If the bowlers is not a member of the USBC, adult
national dues ($8.00) plus the actual dues charged by the local and state associations the
bowler is joining. When local and state dues
are not known, adult associate (formerly affiliate) dues will be $19.00 ($8.00 national,
$10.00 local, $1.00 state). The participation
fee remains at $5.00. Entries will be accepted
up until 9:30 a.m. Multiple entries are not
allowed. In order to bowl, you must be 18 years of age or have a parental
consent form. You also must have an USBC
membership. Handicap will be 90% of
210. 150 minimum averages will be used by
either men or women. Bowlers shall use the
averages in order from the following: 1)
2007 Sunday Classic average (based on
minimum of 24 games) 2)
HIGHEST 2006-2007 completed season
average (based on minimum of 24 games). If bowler does not have
an average from the above, bowler must bowl scratch until 24 games have been bowled in the
2008 season. Any participant that reports an
average less than their official, may be DISQUALIFIED FOR THAT TOURNAMENT AND EXPELLED
FROM ANY FUTURE SUNDAY CLASSIC EVENT, PERIOD! 2008
Tournament average will be used for the remainder of the season once bowler has bowled a
minimum of 24 games. The tournament
director has the right to accept, reject, or change any bowlers average or entry! Proof of league average
under 210 must be proved the day of the tournament to receive handicap, NO EXCEPTIONS!!! USBC rules 319D and 319E will apply. It is each bowlers responsibility to find out his/her
starting lane assignment before the tournament begins. Only prepaid entries are
allowed to call in to let the tournament director know that they will be late. Check-in for everyone is 9:30 a.m. ALL TOURNAMENTS ARE LIMITED TO 64 BOWLERS AND 32 DOUBLES
TEAMS. The Tournament Director reserves
the right to reschedule any event if he feels necessary.
The Tournament Director
also reserves the right to move any bowlers due to lane machine breakdown or any other
reason necessary. The Tournament Directors decisions are final. However, bowlers have the right to appeal to
USBC under rule 329. Prize fund ratio for all tournaments is a minimum of 1 in 5. Prize fund is returned 100%. *Regular Season
Singles and Doubles Tournaments Format Prepaid
Entry - $50.00 ($25 prize, $14.00 bowling, $5 expense, $5 AA Open, $1 BofY). Day of Entry
$55 (extra $5 put in prize fund) All bowlers will bowl 6 games of
qualifying. The tournament will then cut to
the top 5 for the finals. The #1 qualifier
receives a bye into the tournament finals. The #2 qualifier vs. #5 qualifier, #3 vs. #4. The winners face each other to determine who
bowls the #1 seed for the title. The higher
seed of the losers in round 1 receives 4th, the other 5th. All matches are single game elimination. Estimated prize fund for regular season singles events

Overall totals for the Doubles and Singles divisions will determine the

events. Bowler of the Year points will be
awarded for both events. Maximum of 32 teams

Tournament 12/14/08 format: 9:00
a.m. start. All bowlers will bowl 6
games of qualifying. The Top 8 make the cut. Top
8 bowlers will bowl 4 games of match play. The
1-4 qualifiers will bowl all of the 5-8 qualifiers, and vice versa. After the match play round, the Top 8 will bowl a 1
game position round. All matches are 1 game,
awarding 30 bonus points to the winner, 15 for a tie.
All totals carryover each round. Overall
totals determine placing. This tournament will
award double points for Bowler of the Year. Prize
fund will be provided the day of the tournament. *Bowler of the Year
12/14/08 format:
All
bowlers gain points each event bowled. The Top
10 cash in the Bowler of the Year prize fund. $500.00 is guaranteed for 1st Place. Points awarded each event as follows: 1st 500 2nd
